Sharjah 24: In an exquisite and stunning ceremony at the

House of Wisdom, the Sharjah Sports Council (SSC)
launched the new administrative and financial regulations

for sports institutions in the emirate, under the name “Al

Hakam” (referee) on Wednesday, February 21st.
In a gesture of loyalty, Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Board of
Directors of the Sharjah Charity International, was honored for his role in chairing the
Council from 2016 to 2020, and the expert Saeed Al Ajel for his contribution to the council
since its establishment. The ceremony also witnessed the honouring of a large list of success
partners in the emirate from entities, institutions and media.

The new regulations aim to unify systems and enhance performance, efficiency and
governance at the level of all sports institutions in the emirate, and were prepared in
cooperation between the Sharjah Sports Council on one side and the Central Finance
Department, the Legal Department of Sharjah Government, and the Sharjah Department of
Human Resources, on the other side.

The ceremony was attended by Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairman of the
Board of Directors of the Sharjah Charity International; Sheikh Maid bin Sultan Al Qasimi,
