Always remember, good nutrition it’s not “on or off” or “all or nothing”
instead it just always is. You have to eat. So, make wise choices. When you
mess-up, it’s not over. You still have to eat. So, enjoy the mess-up, get back
on track the very next meal, don’t food punish yourself by starving through
the next few meals, and don’t fret over the minor setback. Just move
forward.
For the rest of your life this is how you should think.
When you’ve got these “good” food habits down at least 80% of the
time and you are ready to take the next step with your body then it’s time to
start trying other things like maybe counting your calories. First, until
science comes up with a better way, tracking calorie intake and calorie
output is imprecise and extremely variable. But, for when you do get ready,
we’re going to go ahead and learn the best ways to count your calories here.
