So, How do I Get and Stay Healthy?



        Until science comes up with a better way, I like to keep things simple with
        these good food habits:



            •  Commit to a daily movement practice.
            •  Portion control is king.

            •  Be mindful of what you’re eating and drinking.

            •  Only get 80% full every meal.
            •  Hunger is not an emergency (it’s ok to wait a couple of hours to eat

               if the  food around the office or wherever you currently are isn’t
               healthy).

            •  Eat the rainbow. A variety of colors means a variety
               of micronutrients.

            •  Choose whole foods over processed.

            •  Drink plenty of water every day.
            •  Multi vitamins and supplements are not a substitute for food.

            •  Remember that a mediocre plan that you follow is better than a

               perfect plan that you quit.
            •  Don’t shoot for perfection—it’s literally impossible.

            •  Small changes almost guarantee success while big ones can certainly
               set you up for failure.

            •  The time is already passing anyway, why not do something with it—
               even if just small steps.

            •  Preparing your food in advance helps prevent setbacks.
