Turkey Zoodles






                     Serving Size 4














                     Turkey is rich in selenium, a mineral








                     essential for cognitive function.

















                     INGREDIENTS





                     12 oz bag frozen zucchini noodles






                     1 lb. lean ground turkey







                     2 tbsp minced garlic






                     1 1/4 tsp Italian seasoning






                     Salt and pepper - to taste






                     3 cups marinara sauce - pay attention to sugar content







                     2 tsp olive oil
















                     DIRECTIONS




                     1.  Preheat oven to 400 degrees.















                     2.  In a skillet, heat 1 teaspoon of olive oil over medium heat.






                         Add your frozen zucchini zoodles and cook according to






                         package instructions. Set aside after cooking.















                     3.  Meanwhile, heat 1 teaspoon of olive oil in a skillet over






                         medium heat.















                     4.  Add the ground turkey and cook until brown. Next, add






                         the garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for an






                         additional 5 minutes.















                     5.  Add the marinara sauce. Cook until it is warm,






                         about 5 minutes. Add in the zoodles and reheat.














                     6.  Enjoy as is or grate some Parmesan cheese over the top.
