The Unknown Hero

A boy lived in a small village. The boy’s name was Ethan. He liked adventures and he

wanted to go on adventures. People in the village thought that Ethan was an inno-

cent child and didn't know anything. People used to tease Ethan from childhood. He
didn’t like it. He had many ambitions in life to achieve. He wanted to be an adventur-

er when he grew up. But the people in his village always discouraged him. They did-

n’t like him. In fact, they wanted to kick him out of the village. The poor little child

didn’t know what to do. One day in the village some people started talking about a

monster who wants to have two thousand people for his meal. Ethan wanted to find

out who the monster was and save the people of his village. The next morning some-

thing strange happened. Some people came out crying and they said that their chil-
dren are not there with them at their house. Ethan wanted to find where the monster

was. He went to investigate it. When he was walking on the streets, he found some

footprints on the road. He followed the footprints towards the river. He needed to

cross the river. He saw a boat and some paddles. He knew the right way to do it.

When he crossed the river there was a water fountain. He was very thirsty, so he

filled his bottle with that water and drank it. The water was sweet and cool. Sudden-

ly there appeared a big city and in front of it was a big board. It was written
“Welcome to Fastime”. He went inside. To his surprise, He saw that everything was

going fast there. People were as fast as cars; Cars were as fast as an aeroplane. Not

only people but also time went fast. Children were born, grew up and died in 24

hours. Ethan saw that some children were running. There Ethan met a child. He

asked them why they were running around. The child replied that the summer vaca-

tion started and after an hour the children came back to the school very sadly.

Ethan asked the child what happened and why everyone was so sad.

He said that the summer vacation had ended. Ethan was surprised. He went around

the city for a little time, and he noticed that he was also as tall as an adult. At first,

he didn’t mind. But after some time, his skin started to wrinkle. He went to the mir-

ror, and he saw that he was looking like an old man. Everyone was calling him
grandpa.
