Amish Sunshine and Shadows Prior to 1940. eBay purchase from Pennsylvania in 2011 or before. 83"x85"
Fabric: Cotton squares, satin border, cotton band around the edge 1¼" wide. Batting: Light weight. Backing:
Slick, but not shiny, dusty blue colored fabric. Edge: 1¼" wide band on each side machined to the front and
hand stitched on the back. Piecing: By machine. Quilting: By hand, elaborate, 7 stitches to the inch. In black
thread in an X in each square. In a scrolling plume throughout the border. Condition: Excellent.
