               School House 1890s to 1910s. Purchased at a show at the Factoria Mall in 1995. 64"x76" Fabric: Cotton. Bat-
               ting: Light. Backing: Cadet blue print with misprinting: some white motifs are expanded. Edge: Knife edge
               on one side; Knife edge expanding to ¼" back to front on one edge; back to front 2" on one side; back to
               front 1" on one side. Piecing: By machine. Quilting: By hand, clamshell, 5 stitches to the inch. Condition:
               Very good. Two pink patches (see lower right corner) have faded streaks. Comment: The vendor purchased
               it from a woman whose family made it at Mossyrock or Toledo, WA. She disliked it because it has no right
               side up. It’s a very popular pattern when it comes up for sale, although examples are common.
