Medallion Crib Quilt 1940s, guessing from the sentimental colors, but still old enough to have turkey tracks.
Antique show purchase 2011 or prior. 56"x70" Fabric: Satin with machine-made ecru 2½" wide lace applied
around the edge. Batting: Very thin if any. Backing: Glazed (polished) cotton. Edge: A ¼" satin ribbon
shows on the front only. It alternates in strips two feet long or so between nile green, pink, and white.
Piecing: By machine. Quilting: None. Condition: Pristine-the glaze on the back is still present. Comment:
Collected to add a medallion design to the survey of the whole collection.
