Top Ladies Receive Prestigious Awards

Tampa Bay West Central Florida Chapter

HONORABLE MELVIA B. GREEN, was
presented the prestigious Legal Legend
Award, for her many years of matchless
service to the legal profession. The
2016 Legal Legends Awards Ceremony
was held in Miami on November 3, 2016
by the HISTORY MIAMI MUSEUM AND
THE 11th JUDICIAL CIRCUIT
HISTORICAL SOCIETY. Lady Melvia
has been a loyal member of Top Ladies
of Distinction, Inc. since December
2011 and currently serves as 2nd Vice-
President and the Assistant Top Teen
Advisor. She is the wife of Lord Joseph
Green and mother of Top Teen Lauryn
Green.
Lady Gloria Elliott, RN, a member of
Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc., also since December 2011, was awarded the prestigious
“Jessie Trice Award” by the Florida Choice Health Network; for her exemplary visionary
leadership in providing affordable Health Care to the residents of Hillsborough County. Lady
Gloria currently serves as Recording Secretary and Chaplain. She is well known for her
volunteer efforts and participation in Health Forums in the Tampa Bay area.

The Tampa Bay West Central Florida chapter of Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc., would like to
congratulate these Top Ladies for their outstanding achievements.

Top Ladies Sponsors Luncheon

The Tampa Bay West Central Florida Chapter of Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc.,
sponsored a presentation on “Maintaining a Healthy Diet During the Holidays” at the
Gwen Miller Recreation Center on December 15, 2016.

The presenter was Lady Gloria Elliott, RN, who addressed members of the Golden Stars
(Ocie Butler, President). Lunch for the event was provided by Top Ladies of Distinction,
Inc.
