 Two Honorary Members were inducted: Dr. Glenda Glover, President of
Tennessee State and Dr. Pernessa Seele, CEO & Founder of the Balm in Gilead
and Healthy Churches 2020. Dr. Barbara Shaw, Honorary Member, was also in
attendance. Congratulations Ladies!

 Our own former Immediate Past TTA President, Minister Le'Zaire Reese, was the
guest speaker at the Gospel Brunch. He certainly made us proud as he preached
"Turning your mourning into morning."

 The TLOD Choir performed a gospel concert at the "A Joyful Noise" Gospel
Brunch. They were amazing!!! Thanks to Lady Tillie Colter and the TLOD Choir
members who provided music throughout the conference. Each performance was
better than the last. We are so proud of this group of ladies that gets bigger and
bigger at each performance.  Kudos also to Lady Valencia Edner, Co-
Chairman of the Chaplain's Council, who stepped in and assisted when the need
arose.

 The National President was serenaded by Lady Ethel Foster of the Cardinal
Chapter. She sang the National President's anthem "May the Work I've Done
Speak for Me" in good ole gospel fashion. She is wonderful! And she is 93 years
young!!!! What a blessing!! Kudos and hugs to Lady Foster. My anthem was sung
on several occasions and each rendition was excellent. Kudos to the singers.

 At the President's Reception, our teens provided the entertainment via the
Speaker's Tournament, Spelling Bee and Literacy Café. It was fun, exciting and
amazing. We have some talented Teens!!!!

 Kudos to Ladies Pamela Porch, Valencia Edner, Ozell Dean and Teen Josef
Sorrells for providing the spiritual grounding at the conference.

 Probably the most important aspect of the conference was the TTA Recognition
Breakfast - "We Are the World." The Teens were recognized for every initiative
that they have participated in. There were representatives from St. Jude, March
of Dimes, UNCF, Sickle Cell, Blessings in a Backpack, Dred Scott, NICHD -
Bullying Initiative, NCNW, Keep America Beautiful and they each came bearing
certificates, pins and other accolades. In addition, the graduates of the Vivien Coe
Richard TTA Leadership Academy were recognized and received their graduation
stoles. The Teens wrapped it all up by singing "We Are the World." The March of
Dimes and the Dred Scott Foundation presented TLOD with beautiful awards of
appreciation.

 At the Ruby Red Luncheon, chapters were given certificates for completing their
Chapter Report Books and 5 Star Pins for Five Star Programs. In addition, Ladies
Ozell Dean, Founder and Faye B. Bryant, 3rd National President, were presented
with the first 50 year pins.
