Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. (TLOD) Move Into New Home

Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. (TLOD) was in celebration mode recently with the
dedication of its new headquarters/home located at 2607 Prospect Street, Houston, Texas
77004. This milestone occasion was attended by several hundred Top Ladies, friends
and supporters. Lady Mary Catherine Hamilton, Celebration Chair, warmly greeted the
visitors and encouraged them to tour the beautiful new facility that will serve TLOD and
the Houston community. Lady Drema Lee Woldman, National President of TLOD from
Chicago, Illinois, was on hand to welcome the visitors and to officially open the house.
Also present were TLOD Past National Presidents Faye B. Bryant, Bobbie Moorehead and
Jackie Pope-Houston, Texas, Jacquelyn H. Parker-Crete, Illinois, Dorothy Chimney –
Lufkin, Texas and Peggy Lewis LeCompte-Belleville, Illinois. National Area One
Director Lady Harnell Williams and National First Vice President Lady Sharon Beard of
Dallas, Texas, National Second Vice President Lady Eddie Lee Marsh of Savannah,
Georgia, National Editor of the Crown Lady Regina Dickson of Houston and National
Treasurer Lady Vynessa Alexander of Chicago, Illinois were also in attendance. The
Host Committee was gratified as well to have visiting Top Ladies from the Houston
Chapters, Prairie View, Beaumont, Lake Charles, Baytown, Nacogdoches, Baton Rouge,
Miami, Prince William County-Virginia and San Antonio Chapters visit our new home!
Another highly valued friend in attendance was Mary Breaux Wright, the International
President of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. A special added attraction was the participation
of former Top Teen and current Houston City Councilmember Amanda Edwards.
Councilmember Edwards brought greetings and presented a Certificate of Appreciation
from her office and a lovely flower arrangement to Lady Drema in honor of this
auspicious occasion. Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. (TLOD) is a national not-for-profit
organization that remains committed to providing quality service to youth and adults as
it has done for 53 years.
