voting, and voting at the polls. Ladies will visit residents in their rooms to ensure
each resident is registered to vote.
We partner with local Alzheimer’s Associations year after year as our chapters
across the United States participant in raising money for research and education
by walking in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Alzheimer’s is such a devastating disease
for both the individual and their family. It is very prevalent in our senior citizen
population. Therefore it is a worthy cause to champion. We have many ladies that are
also participating in the Alzheimer’s Associations clinical trials in a variety of ways.

In Partnership with our Community Beautification Committee, we recognize that
gardening is good exercise, a means to fellowship and a way to bring beauty into our
senior’s live. Therefore we encourage beautification of their facilities. As you can see
from these lovely pictures, our Lords, our Top Teens as well as the senior enjoy this
activity.

Finally, I would like to thank each and every Lady, Lord, Top Teen, friends and
family members that have worked hard over the last two years serving in our
communities to enhance the lives of senior citizens. To our Area Directors and
Area Senior Citizen Chairs thank you for your support. You have all done an
outstanding job. I look forward to working for you 2017-2019!
