Founder and entertainer Danny Thomas opened the doors to St. Jude in 1962 with the dream that “no child should die in
the dawn of life." St. Jude is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-
threatening diseases.
Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all a family should
worry about is helping their child live.
In just 2years, Top Teens of America across the country (sponsored by Top Ladies
of Distinction, Inc), has raised over $63,000 in our newest partnership with St.
Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
On the 3rd Saturday of May 2016 and 2017, chapters walked, ran, skipped and hopped in support of St Jude Children’s
Hospital. Walks were held in parks, riverfronts, city streets and some were moved inside due to weather, but through it
all we supported the children of St Jude.
