having sold the highest number of raffle tickets at the HBCU Gala at the Power Center in
September 2016. Some of the other TLOD National Projects include; NAACP, Lady Artis
Petterway, Lady Joyce Jacquet, National Community Partnerships Chair who negotiates
scholarships for TLOD. Literacy, Lady Karri Carmouche-Chair, arranged Literacy events that
included the chapter reading to students at Felix Cook Elementary. Congresswoman Lee’s
Toys for kids, Breakfast with Santa at the Golden Triangle YMCA and the Houston Food Bank
as National Projects.
