Prairie View Chapter of Top Ladies Closes out the Year with Community
Beautification and A Visit to Golden Creek Nursing and Rehab Center in
Navasota

The Prairie View Chapter of Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. continued their mission of keeping the
graves of deceased Top Ladies replenished by planting pink roses at the grave site of Lady
Thoymmee Phillips on May 9, 2015. Top Ladies assisting with this beautifying project were Lady
Denise Roberts, President and Lady Ruth Smith. Other members of the chapter include Lady Louise

Brown, Lady Renelda Brown, Lady Burnest Carter, Lady
Gwendolyn Carter, Lady Sharon Gillum. Lady Patsy Jackson,
Lady Shanette Johnson, Lady Dorothy Kirby and Lady Eddie
Faye Lewis.

The Prairie View Chapter of
Top Ladies of Distinction,
Inc. visited the residents at
Golden Creek Nursing and
Rehab Center in Navasota,
Texas on May 2, 2015 and
donated several puzzles, word games, sunglasses and prizes for their
Bingo games. “Senior Citizens” is one of the organization’s major
thrusts. The Residents were very attentive, enjoying playing BINGO.
Present were Lady Ruth Smith, Lady Denise Roberts, President and
Lady Dorothy Kirby, Senior Citizens Chair.
