PRAIRIE VIEW TOP LADIES MAKE A SPECIAL VISIT TO V.S. BROWN HOUSE

The Prairie View Chapter of Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. has (Left to right) Lady Patsy Jackson, Lady Dorothy Kirby,
adopted the V.S. Brown House, an Assisted Elderly Care facility Lady Denise Roberts, President, Lady Gwendolyn
in Waller, TX. Members of the chapter visited the residents and
donated toiletries and footwear. The staff expressed appreciation Carter, Lady Ruth Smith and Lady Shanette Johnson
for the donations and was very thankful. The following members
presented the items: (Left to right) Lady Patsy Jackson, Lady
Dorothy Kirby, Lady Denise Roberts, President, Lady
Gwendolyn Carter, Lady Ruth Smith and Lady Shanette Johnson.
Other members of the chapter are Lady Louise Brown, Lady
Renelda Brown, Lady Burnest Carter, Lady Sharon Gillum, and
Lady Eddie Faye Lewis.

PRAIRIE VIEW’S TLOD CHAPTER DONATE TO
CAREER CLOSET

The Prairie View Chapter of Top Ladies of Distinction,
Inc. donated clothing to the Career Closet in the Office of
Career Services at Prairie View A&M University. The
Career Closet provides professional clothing and shoes for
students to participate in Career Fairs and Interviews. The
clothing donations will help the students dress for success.

The members of the chapter are Lady Denise Roberts,
President, Ladies Louise Brown, Renelda Brown White,
Burnest Carter, Gwendolyn Carter, Sharon Gillum, Patsy
Jackson, Shanette Johnson, Dorothy Kirby, Eddie Faye
Lewis, and Ruth Smith.

Prairie View Chapter of Top Ladies of Distinction, Incorporated Partners with
the Waller Pregnancy Care Center

The Prairie View Chapter of TLOD donated diapers, baby
toiletries and other baby items to Waller Pregnancy Care Center.
The Center is committed to providing compassionate care, vital
information and life-affirming options to anyone facing an
unplanned pregnancy. Their mission is to empower young
families by providing counseling, educational resources, health
consultation, and spiritual guidance to expecting moms and dads.
They serve the surrounding community by advocating strong
family values that enrich the lives of young parents and their
children.
