Temple Israel Honors

My family and I came to Long Beach approximately 55 years ago. My wife Gertrude
wanted to be near her father and mother who were ill. Long Beach was and is a great
place to live and raise a family.

I had a commercial window cleaning business which I gave to my men who worked for
me about 25 years. I have been a Temple Israel member for approximately 55 years.

My sons Stuart, Martin and Robert each had his Bar Mitzvah at Temple Israel and
still attend with me for the High Holidays. Temple Israel has been very good to me and
my family. My wife Gertrude was the president of the Hebrew School and member of
the Sisterhood. When my wife passed away I decided to go to Temple regularly and met
Phyllis Fisher my new partner in life. We are blessed to have each other.
