Contaminations of the environment from the filter elements have
to be taken care of immediately. An extraction and filtering device
with at least the same filter class and an appropriate aspiration
has to be used.
Attention: For your own safety, you should wear respiratory
equipment and gloves minimum during any maintenance
and upkeep work.
Attention: Disconnect the unit from the mains supply before
starting service and maintenance work!
After a certain period of time the activated carbon in the
adsorption filter cassettes will be saturated depending on the
extraction volume of gases and fumes. An indicator for the
saturation of the filters can be the characteristic smell of the
exhaust gases in the clean gas stream. To prevent this from

happening the filter cassettes have to be replaced periodically
after a set time interval before they are completely saturated.
For the replacement of filter cassette proceed after the following
instructions:
1. Open the front door at the recessed grip. At LEF 300 open
both front doors.

2. Unfasten the two screw handles on the left side of the filter.
