Maintenance and
Upkeep
General Maintenance and The maintenance confines itself to checking the filter contamination
Upkeep instructions state, the condition of the blower and the replacement of the filter.
The Maintenance work has to be carried out according to TRGS
560 article No. 5 para. 9. The Maintenance work taken place has
to be recorded in writing. The Documents have to be handed over
to the official institutions if demanded.
Daily inspection
- Checking the filter condition and if neccessary replacement of
the saturated filter elements
Monthly maintenance
- Checking the suction-line system
- Checking the collecting elements
annual general inspection
- the general Inspection can be carried out by ULT AG after
agreements have been made
Further activities exceeding the mentioned points only should be
carried out after consultation of the ULT Service.
Attention: For your own safety, you should wear respiratory
equipment, hand gloves and protective clothing during any
maintenance and upkeep work.
Attention: Disconnect the unit from the mains supply before
starting service and maintenance work!
Always clean the working area from contaminations after fin-
ishing the maintenance work.
Never perform any maintenance work while the machine is still
connected with the mains supply. For this, follow the instructions
below:
- Switch off the ventilator and protect it against being re-
started.
- Wait until the impeller has come to standstill.
- Remove mains plug.
After completing the maintenance work, properly re-fit all protec-
tive devices and guards and, if necessary, any pipe connections.
Close all inspection openings.

During all works on the filter elements harmful substances can be
set free from the filter and may get in contact with the environ-
ment or people working on the device.
