                 Fire Hazard Safety Notes
The ACD TD extraction and filtering unit is designed only for
extracting gases and vapours produced during processing, which
is normally non-combustible. The filtration system is designed to
precipitate inert, non-explosive gas types. The extraction of
                                                explosive mixtures is forbidden.

Prior to using this unit, please get informed on the combusti-
bility or explosiveness of the vapors and types of dust origi-
                                                nating from processing or machining.
To be able to estimate the danger of explosion or fire and in order
to determine the necessary precautions, please inform yourself
about the safety-related characteristic parameters of your gas-
                                                eous substances and dusts.
Nearly all technical dust types are flammable and can, there-
fore, catch fire through sparks or hot, incandescent parts.
This does not apply to purely mineral dust types.
Do not suck in any ignition sources.
To avoid fire and explosion do not suck into the filtering any igni-
tion sources such as burning, incandescent or smoldering objects,
or incandescent chips or glowing cigarettes.
Although the hazard of fire cannot be entirely excluded, it is rec-
ommended that you should place a fire extinguisher in the vicinity
of this extracting and filtering unit.
Suitable types of fire extinguishers are:
                                                - foam,
                                                - carbon dioxide (CO2), and
                                                - powder

                                                In the event of fire:
                                                   1. Immediately shut down the system.

                                                   2. If possible, close the intake port to prevent the ingress of
                                                       oxygen.
