Basketball YLE Flyers Reading and Writing Part 5
So, the boys asked their parents if they could go and their mum and dad said yes. The family
bought four tickets to go to see two famous teams play a basketball game at their city’s

sports centre. It was full of people and fans from all over the world who wanted to watch
their favourite basketball players.

James and Mark loved watching the game, and they even took photos of the players! When

the game ended, they met some of the players and said they had a great time.

The next day, James and Mark’s mum and dad took them to their first basketball lesson at
the sports centre, and now they love the sport! They now practise two times a week with
their trainer, and they play at the weekends at the park with their friends.
