Training & Skills Development
Xperien’s ability to maintain a competitive advantage in the industry is owed to our ongoing education and training of employees. We
understand that education and training are essential for developing employee skills as well as attracting and retaining our workforce.
During the reporting period, a total of R475 755,15 was spent on training and skills development. A total of 1 690 hours were used for
training. Of this total, internal training accounted for 363.5 hours and external training accounted for 1 326.5 hours.
Compensation
Xperien’s compensation philosophy is aimed at promoting and reinforcing the quality and commitment of employees. We
are committed to paying our employees fair and appropriate compensation in the form of wages, salaries and other perks. This
compensation meets, and often exceeds, the minimum statutory standards. The ratio between the highest base salary and the
median base salary is 7:1.
Annaul Total Compensation Ratio
The Ratio of Annual Total Compensation calculates the ratio of the Annual Total Compensation of the highest-paid individual to the
Median Annual Total Compensation for employees. During the reporting period, Xperien’s Ratio of Annual Total Compensation was:
• 7:1 for Fixed Income
• 4:1 for Variable Income
Xperien’s Median Annual Total Compensation minus the highest paid was:

• R469 895 for Variable Pay
