CHAPTER I INTRODUCTION
A. Title Description
Have you ever helped your friend? What kind of help do you offer?
Maybe the help like in the form of giving a suggestion or making an offer
using appropriate expressions. There are many expressions in suggestions
and offers whether it’s accepting or declining.
When family, friends, and people around us are still in doubt and
can’t decide what they’re going to do, they’ll usually ask us for suggestion.
We will be happy to give the suggestion even if the suggestion may not be
accepted. In addition, we also often offer help to others in need and
respond to offers made to us. Expressions that can be used in giving
suggestion is I suggest that, while expressions that can be used in making
offers is may I help you?
B. Prerequisite
In the previous material, the definition, sentence structure, and
linguistics elements of suggestions and offers have been presented. To be
able to understand this module, it is hoped that you have read material on
the definition, sentence structure, and linguistics elements of suggestions.
In addition, try to understand the expressions used when asking and
responding to suggestions and offers. If you have met these prerequisites,
then you will be able to create conversations about suggestions and offers.
C. Module Usage Instructions
In order for you to successfully master and understand the material
in this module well, then read it carefully and follow these instructions:
