WHAT TO EXPECT THE FRONT-END PROCESS
4 SCHEDULING + PRE-CONSTRUCTION
Once the contract is signed and the deposit is paid, this is the time when we add your project to our Master
Schedule. At that time, we can give a rough estimate as to the projected start date. Keep in mind this is a rough
timeframe, as many factors can affect that start date. Two factors that can add to this time frame are securing
permits and materials. As it gets closer, an exact date will be pinned down (usually about a week or two before we
break ground).
WEATHER
Please keep in mind that this is an outdoor living project, and we are not in control of the weather.
An example of a weather delay: If your project is scheduled for June, and it rained for two weeks straight in April, it
not only pushed your project back two weeks, but it pushed the other projects prior/concurrent/after your project
as well. The weather may have caused other issues in addition to no-work days (for example: filling a pool’s
excavation with water and having to pump it out and work in a mud pit for additional days.)
Other Scheduling Delay Factors:
CLIENT’S ADDING MORE WORK TO PROJECTS PRIOR TO YOURS
MATERIAL AVAILABILITY DELAYS
FREIGHT / DELIVERY DELAYS
MANUFACTURING / FABRICATING DELAYS
UNFORSEEN SITE CONDITIONS
CHANGES IN MATERIAL OR SCOPE OF PROJECT
We do our absolute best to stick to our word, regardless of these factors. We are working behind the scenes to do
everything we can to get to your project as soon as we can.
