The Professor was sitting on the porch when he saw
me and invited me to join him. We hadn’t had much
time together since his return from the greenstone
journey, so enjoying his company with a spot of tea
sounded like a great idea.
As we were sipping our tea, he seemed pensive. I
could tell he had been thinking deeply about something
as he launched into a conversation that I never thought
would come out of his mouth.
He began, “Kori, my dear, since your arrival at the
manor, I have watched you have several experiences
that I can tell, have challenged your grasp on reality and
in turn, I myself have also been challenged.”
