To add to our adventure at the falls, Pita decided we
should climb down and go swimming.

It did look very inviting, with the gentle mist
bellowing from the golden pools as rays of sunlight
danced off the glistening water. So, down the steep
ravine we went; me tentatively grasping for secure
footage and him effortlessly gliding down with no
problem at all.

Thank goodness his strong arms were there to help
me down. He immediately stripped down to his
bathing suit and jumped into the water.

I was about to join him when I instinctively reached
for my necklace. Panic struck as I realized it wasn’t
there. I immediately went into hysteria and yelled to
Pita I had to go back and find it.

He was enjoying the water and was very confused
about what all the fuss was about. Was I suddenly
injured or bitten by some unknown bug? What exactly
was my problem, just when everything was going so
perfectly?

I immediately started scrambling up the steep
ravine, slipping and falling most of the way. Finally, he
understood: it was about losing my necklace.
