Ana Ferwerda, MD, FACOG
Ana Ferwerda, M.D., FACOG is an OB-Gyn who serves as
the Director of Women’s Health for the C. L. Brumback
Primary Care Clinics, Federally Qualified Health Centers
that are owned and operated by the Health Care District of
Palm Beach County. Dr. Ferwerda has a genuine interest in
the physical and mental health of women. She firmly
believes every patient deserves the highest quality of care.
Dr. Ferwerda, who is fluent in both English and Spanish,
earned her Doctor of Medicine from Ponce Health Sciences
University in Ponce, Puerto Rico. She served her residency
at Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
where she was the Chief Resident of Obstetrics and
Gynecology. Dr. Ferwerda is a Fellow of the American
College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is a member of the American College of
Obstetrics and Gynecology, the American Medical Association, the American Association
of Gynecologic Laparoscopists and the Florida Medical Association.
Tamara-Kay Tibby, DMD, MPH
Tamara-Kay Tibby, DMD, MPH, is the Dental Director for
the C. L. Brumback Primary Care Clinics, Federally
Qualified Health Centers that are owned and operated by
the Health Care District of Palm Beach County. Dr. Tibby
oversees four dental clinic sites in West Palm Beach,
Lantana, Delray Beach and Belle Glade. A practicing dentist
for 15 years, Dr. Tibby is board certified in the areas of
Pediatric Dentistry and Public Health. She is committed to
promoting good oral health as a component of overall
health.Dr. Tibby graduated from Duke University in
Durham, North Carolina and earned her Doctor of Dental
Medicine degree from the University of Florida College of
Dentistry in Gainesville. She completed her residency at
Harvard University/Boston Children’s Hospital in Massachusetts. Dr. Tibby also holds a
Master of Public Health from the University of South Florida in Tampa.
Dr. Tibby, who is fluent in English and Spanish, participates in the Palm Beach County

include the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the College of Diplomates of the
HAPPY American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and the University of Florida Academy of Alumni

Daniel B. Kairys, MD
Daniel B. Kairys, M.D., is a General Surgeon who serves
as Chief Medical Officer, Chief of Staff Elect and Chief of
Surgery at Lakeside Medical Center. The acute care, rural
hospital accredited by The Joint Commission is located in
Belle Glade, Florida and is owned and operated by the
Health Care District of Palm Beach County. Dr. Kairys, who
is fluent in English, Spanish and Haitian Creole, is a member
of the hospital’s Medical Executive Committee and also
chairs the hospital’s ICU Committee. In addition, he serves
as Chair of the Health Sciences Academy (HSA) Board at
Glades Central High School where he created and organized
the “Glades Medical Staff Scholarship” which awards HSA
students funds to pursue medical education at a local col-

Dr. Kairys was among the first wave of medical responders after the devastating earth-
quake in Haiti on January 12, 2010. Just days after the quake, he made front page news
when he traveled with his wife, Junia, to Port-au-Prince as part of Project Medishare for
Haiti, a nonprofit medical relief organization. During his time in Haiti, Dr. Kairys and the
medical relief team voluntarily treated approximately 200 patients, providing care with-
