        Ridwan Lin, MD, PhD

          Ridwan Lin, M.D., Ph.D., is a board certified neuro interventional neurologist at Broward Health North (BHN) where he has been on staff since
        September 2011.
          He specializes in medical and interventional (catheter-based) treatments for a wide range of cerebrovascular disorders, including acute stroke
        therapies, carotid/intracranial stenosis, brain aneurysms and vascular malformations.
          Dr. Lin utilizes a less invasive approach to treating disorders affecting the arteries and veins supplying the brain. Endovascular interventional
        therapy – a less invasive approach to open surgery – uses an X-ray guided catheter to treat strokes, brain aneurysms and vascular malformations.
          Dr. Lin received his doctorate degrees in medicine and philosophy from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in Hershey, PA. He
        completed a preliminary program in internal medicine and a residency in neurology at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH. Dr. Lin also com-
        pleted fellowships in vascular neurology and neurointerventional surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, PA.

        opened a practice at 3896 N. Federal
        Highway in Lighthouse Point in Internal
        Medicine and Respiratory disease caring
        for adult and geriatric clients.
          Dr. Winokur is a Master Captain with
        the United States Merchant Marine, and a
        certified physician with the United States
        Coast Guard.
