"Visitor Screening Best Practices and Strategies
There is a feeling in the air! Maybe when you for Today's Modern Healthcare Facility
were at the 2017 SFHHA Healthcare Summit you
felt it, a new vibration, a freshening breeze, an
excitement. Well, you were not the only one. August 9, 2017
Over the last few months, we have added a sig- Health Information Technology Committee

The Summit was a “win” for the SFHHA. Why SFHHA 25th Annual Golf Tournament to benefit
is that? Well, first, the attendance was more than
we had expected (326). Second, we were able to, with the help of our committees, put the South Florida Hospital Research and Education Foundation
together a program that met the needs of the attendees! In discussions with both our
committee members and Chairs, they told us that pursuit of the goals outlined by the November 7, 2017

and we raced off trying to find the best speakers to talk about these cornerstones; and
we did! December 7, 2017
On a recent SFHHA Board of Director’s call, one of our Executive Board members, SFHHA Annual Dinner Meeting
David Wagner, Kindred South Florida Market CEO, phrased it best. He said that we
are starting to generate some winning energy. The energy we are investing in the
organization to improve our educational offerings, networking opportunities, and
advocacy focus is starting to win over organizations that were on the cusp of mem-
bership, but could never find that single event to move that decision forward.
This WINnergy (Winning + Energy) has allowed us to add companies to our mem-
bership like Telco South Florida (30-year-old company providing cost effective inter-
net and dial tone solutions), Lutron (world leader in light controls), National NEW MEMBERS:
Transaction Corporation (providing high quality cash flow solutions), and
Medecision (a leading health management company in the nation), Jupiter Medical
Center, HealthSouth Sunrise Rehabilitation Hospital, and HealthSouth Rehabilitation Teleco South Florida
Hospital of Miami, to name a few. Lutron
So, let’s get on board and “Connect with the SFHHA and feel the WINnergy!” We National Transaction Corp.
have a place for you in our organization.
