Shapes
Do you remember all the shapes and tools of the Paint window? Let us recall
some shapes and tools with their functions that we have already learnt.
Shapes – This group has some pre drawn readymade shapes. Click on any one
and drag the mouse anywhere on the drawing area.
(a) Line
It is used to draw lines in any direction from ‘top’ to ‘bottom’ or from ‘left’
to ‘right’. You can also change the thickness of the line.
(b) Rectangle
It is used to draw squares or rectangles of different sizes.
(c) Oval
It is used to draw ovals or circles of different sizes. A circle is absolutely
round but an oval is like the shape of an egg.
(d) Rounded Rectangle
It is used to draw rectangles or squares with ‘rounded corners.’
(e) Polygon
It is used to draw a closed shape with straight lines.
