Design business cards as scratch cards. The individual’s
job title, private line or mobile number could be hidden
behind a silver panel. Cards could feature a game in
which the scratch-off panel reveals different levels of
interaction or response – lunch at The Ivy or a promise
to return phone calls within an hour, perhaps.

Create software that reads or listens to a phone user’s
text messages or conversation (with the permission of
the caller, of course) and responds in a sympathetic
fashion. A 3G phone could allow all calls to be monitored
by software on a web server. If the software recognises
the phrase ‘I love you’ spoken by a caller, the phone
260itself could turn red, start vibrating and play Stevie
Wonder’s ‘I just called to say...’ as a ringtone or MP3.
