10. Thank the customer for bringing the problem to your
attention and ask them to contact you directly if they
ever have a problem again.
Whenever you find yourself in the position of dealing
with a customer complaint, always try to keep the desired
end result in the back of your mind. You want the person
making the complaint to continue being one of your
customers so try to resolve the issue quickly, fairly and
professionally. Don’t tear yourself to pieces if you get the
odd complaint. Keep an eye on your business to make
certain that you are doing everything possible to keep
complaints to a minimum.
