Paul said that we are like sheep being led to the slaughter. All day we face persecution
famine and the sword and we remain silent like sheep before her shearers. We are hard
pressed on every side but we are not destroyed.

Paul told us that anyone willing to join the ranks of Christianity should prepare themselves
for being persecuted. In fact the church grew stronger under such inhuman treatment. Jesus
told his disciples if men heard me they will listen to you.

And if they persecuted me they will also persecute you. A student is not above his master! To
those who think Christianity is a boat ride on the French Riviera they are sadly mistaken.
Scripture is the good news and it is filled with hope.

Hat our present suffering cannot compare to the future which is in Christ our lord. And that is
why I remain faithful to the cause. It is not a waste of time as some think. Earth is losing and
we are honoured to be the vessels God is using.
