P. 36
To those who were once God’s children and now have been given to Jesus.
To those that obey God’s word.
Christ has revealed the word of the lord:-
To his disciples who realize that the source of everything is God through Jesus.
Jesus was the vessel that God used to preach to the disciples.
His message was accepted by them for the word of the lord never returns to him void.
The word of the lord accomplished its purpose through him.
The word illuminates his true origin.
The word of the lord makes us believe that he was God sent.
3. We are God’s chosen ones:-
The worldly people are not in Jesus prayers
He is instead praying for God’s elect.
We are all God’s property.
We are all Christ’s property.
The power of God flows through Christ then through us.
4. The Holy Father is our protection:-
Jesus is not in the world he is with the father.
We still are in this world and us such we need protection.
The Holy Father protects us by the power of his name.
Jesus has been given that powerful name.
Through that name the Son and the Father are one.
That name was the vessel through which God offered us protection through the Son.
Than name enabled to not go astray.
Through that name some will fall away (Judas)
That same name accomplished the scriptures.
5. No longer of this world:-
Christ has gone to be with the father but before he ascended:
He left his word so that his disciples would have a full measure of joy in them.
The world has rejected the word of God.
The same word caused his disciples to also be rejected.
The world hated them for they no longer belonged to it.
They are no longer of this world any more than Jesus is.
He wanted that his disciples remain in the world but he prayed a prayer of protection
over them from the evil one.
6. Sanctified by the truth:-
Jesus set them apart for a holy purpose.
His word is the truth:-
1 Cor. 13:6 - It takes no pleasure in wrongdoing, but has joy in what is true.
Eph. 4:25 - And so, putting away false words, let everyone say what is true to his neighbour:
for we are parts one of another.
