General Information

TICKET SALES
Many division and society awards are given at IMECE. Tickets for these functions may be purchased
on-site at the ASME Registration Desk. Please purchase tickets as soon as possible after you register. In
order to ensure accurate guarantees and avoid disappointment, tickets for all events will be sold up to 24
hours prior to the event or as long as there is flexibility to adjust the guarantee.

TRANSPORTATION AROUND HOUSTON
Airport Shuttle: Shuttle service is available through Super Shuttle; Hilton Americas does not currently have
a shuttle to/from the Houston airports. Rates: IAH/George Bush is $24 one way and Hobby Airport is $20
one way. Reservations required 1-800-258-3826.

Taxi: Taxi service is readily available in the city and also at the front entrance of the Hilton Americas-Houston.
If you wish to pay with a credit card, it is suggested to ask the driver if your method of payment is accepted.
Taxi rates from and to the airport are estimated at $50.00 for IAH, one way, and $29.00 for Hobby, one
way.
Alternative Transportation:

• There is a Bike Cab service, which accommodates two guests, provided through Lone Star Bike Cab,
2327 ½ Commerce, 832-687-5917.

• Preferred Limousine and Town Car service partner AFC (Transportation Management Company). For
