                Take Attendance immediately. If permitted, eat snack and check kids
         homework; award a sticker  Sit in a circle on the ground or in chairs together.
         1.  ¿Cuál es tu animal favorito? Activity

             2.  Using the rhythm/song,
           ¿Cuál es tu animal favorito?                                VOCABULARY
           Mi animal favorito es  un  . . . Caballo! El
             caballo hace “neigh”
             3.  Pass the sack around and have kids
                put out different animals. As if that animal is their favorite. “Una
                torutga! Es tu animal favorito? No, no es mi animal favorito”
             4.  Keep going until they find their favorite animal.
             Personaize this by asking for pictures of the kids pets or favorite
                                                animals!!

            2          REVIEW VOCABULARY                                PREP



             Activity: ¿Que tengo aqui?
           All props are hidden in the prop bag.
           Use this activity as a way to REVIEW all vocab words
           Take each item out individually and pass around to show students
             and to teach that new word                                 VOCABULARY
           Say, ¿Dónde está? Pretend to be looking for it.
           Pass animals around and have kids say, “hola gato, hola gato”
           End the activity by looking for each animal and singing “adios song”
             Adios gato, adios gato . . .

                ACTIVITY: TEACH VOCAB WITH ACTIONS AND PLAY FREEZE TAG
           Move to a new location Have students stand up!

           Teach word with a movement/motion. Use sound affect too!
           Show the picture cards to teach/reinforce the learning  (ask the easy
             questions on the back of the cards) to provide repetition.   VOCABULARY
