This year the Shenandoah Estates Crime Prevention and Improvement District and the Shenandoah Homeowners Association will promote the American Flag from May 28 (Memorial Day) to July 4 (Independence Day). American Flags will be provided free to the residents of Shenandoah Estates. An American Flag, 12 inches by 18 inches, on a 30 inch wooden stick will be placed in the front yard of every lot in Shenandoah Estates Subdivision. (Yes, all 2,000+ homeowners).
Shenandoah Estates residents, a subdivision in southeast Baton Rouge of over 2,000 homes, walked the streets and put flags in the servitude between the sidewalk and street by the walkway to each house. The Shenandoah Homeowners Association recognizes homeowners who fly their American Flag proudly and correctly by giving a Flag Certificate. If you know of an individual homeowner that correctly and proudly fly the American Flag, contact the Shenandoah Homeowners Association and we will proudly recognize them . (president@shawebwatch.com)
The Shenandoah Estates invites other subdivisions to be patriot and show the true American Sprit. The flags should stay up at least till after July 4th (Independance Day) weekend.
