José Paulo – Ideal Decision

                                                      CONSISTENCY

The world has changed, and information and transformation
truly are faster. The mistake most people make is to wish things
happen immediately. In reality, the great evil that plagues peo-
ple’s thinking in this century is immediacy. However, if you want
to build something solid and lasting, never stop being consistent.
Consistency and patience go hand in hand when you want to start
a business. Whether in business or for people, the consistency of
one’s actions is what will determine one’s success.

Consistency is key for extraordinary results. Imagine a person
wants to learn how to play the piano and starts dedicating to study
music for thirty minutes a day for five years; surely this person will
become an expert pianist. The same is valid to whomever wants to
learn a new language and starts studying for one hour a day for
three years; surely this person will excel at the new language.

People should not believe they will learn a new language or how
to play the piano by taking an intensive course of 30 days for 10
hours a day, because they will get tired and will not have results.
Isolated or punctual actions lead to failure, but habit goes hand in
          hand with success.
Consistency is discipline’s twin sister. Another example is if I
wanted to improve my fitness; there is no use to working out eight
hours a day for only ten days, it would not work. What will give
me the result I want is to work out one hour a day, three days a
week with discipline for dozens of months.
