        THE HALLS

We say it all the time, that we could

not do what we do at the Egyptian
        Theatre without the continued support

        from our volunteers.

Due to COVID-19 throughout the last year, it has
been challenging to find ways to keep volunteers
involved with ongoing projects at the theatre.
One way we were able to keep our volunteers
involved was through our holiday decorations.
We brought a team of volunteers in to help us
decorate in November 2020. While we ended up
not having events in December due to another
required closure, it was great having some holiday
cheer to help us through a challenging season.
With all of the building improvements over the
last year, it was exciting to see it decorated for the
holidays. Many volunteers brought their families
through to see the magic of the Egyptian Theatre
        decorated.

Decorations stayed up until the end of January, to
help us host a Jolly January for The Beth Fowler
        Dance Company’s “Nutcracker: The Movie”.
When it came time to take the decorations down,
volunteers again were at the ready to help us
where it was needed. Time and time again, our
volunteers are the ones that make everything
possible here. What would have been an arduous,
all day endeavor for our small staff, ended up
being only a few hours because of our fantastic
volunteers. We look forward to the time when
they can help us welcome patrons back to the
theatre. Thank you to every one of our volunteers
who have helped us survive this last year!
