Every December for the past 27 years, the Egyptian Theatre has
hosted the Beth Fowler Dance Company for their performance of the
classic ballet, The Nutcracker. Sadly, this holiday tradition would not be

and some creative pivoting, we were still able to host this holiday staple
as a movie!

individual scenes from the ballet right on our stage with the professional
video services of Dan Kapper. Dan captured not only the gorgeous stage
sweeping shots that showed the entirety of a scene, but also beautiful

magical as The Nutcracker itself. We are incredibly proud that we were
able to work with this long standing community partner to make this
event happen during COVID and bring a bright spot of holiday magic
during these difficult times.
