Royal Ark Mariners Assembly

Somerset Royal Ark Mariners met at their new venue, the Web-
bington Hotel for their Annual Assembly on Saturday 3rd Sep-
tember 2016. Meetings in the past were held at Nailsea Masonic
Centre, which over the last few years became very crowded due
to the popularity of the function. The move to the Webbington
with its large function & dining rooms allowed the ladies to join
us all at the Festive Board that followed the Provincial Meeting.
Happily the ladies now not only attend the Somerset Mark
Annual Provincial Meeting, but the RAM Assembly also.

The meeting followed the tried & tested proceedings, under the watchful eye of the Provincial Grand Director
of Ceremonies, W. Brother Mark Golding, the honoured guests took their seats & the Opening Hymn was
sung. Right Worshipful Brother John Graham Morgan together with his Deputy, Worshipful Brother Philip
Voisey & Officers of Provincial Grand Lodge opened the meeting in form, after which all guests were
personally welcomed. Continued page two.
