                                  OBITUARIES





           Len  Howie  died  at  the  end  of
           December  after  a  short  illness.
           He  had  some  back  problems  and
           he and  his wife, Celia, decided to
           downsize as they no longer had any
           dogs.

           It was usually Len who handled the
           dogs  in  the  show  ring,  their  affix
           being Ranoel, making up numerous
           dogs.  Len  also  judged  the  breed
           and  in  2003  he  judged  at  Crufts.
           He was a Keeshond Club committee
           member  for  many  years  and
           became our Chairman in 1990 until  The last time I spoke to Len he told
           his  resignation  in  2003.  He  will  me he had been at the Keeshond
