ECO-SCHOOL
Millfield Prep School is proud to be an eco-school.
This means we all work together to look after our school environment and also try to have a positive impact on the
wider environment too. Look out for our green flag flying and find out about our eco-code. If you want to be more
involved, listen out for eco club and eco committee dates.
What can you do?
o Turn off lights
o Reduce paper usage, write on both sides and use scrap paper for workings.
o Reduce food waste by choosing a balanced meal carefully.
o Report dripping taps to help save water.
o Recycle at school – paper in classrooms -also carboard, batteries, crisp packets and more.
o Respect the environment at school by putting rubbish in bins, enjoying the grounds and learning about the
wildlife we have here.
