BLUE PATHWAY
Students who are not studying via the green pathway will study
via the blue pathway. You need to look carefully at the language
options and the subject options in the table.
The scale of Millfield means that for each subject you will be
grouped in a way that allows you to be stretched, challenged and
nurtured and in some subjects will involve setting by prior
attainment. Our aim is to give all our students an exceptional
academic experience and we believe that this model will allow us
to do that.
For most students, studying via the blue pathway will lead to
qualifications in nine subjects.
For those students with additional educational needs (AEN),
study support is a choice in place of a language if the Learning
Support Centre have approved it to be in the best interests of
academic progress. These students will therefore complete eight
qualifications. For students in the accelerated maths groups ten
qualifications are possible with Additional Maths.
