• FACING ADVERSITY Caused by Covid-19 Pandemic, Systemic Racism, Blacks Murdered by Police:
Learning about the long history of systemic racism and police brutality in America as well as seeing it first
hand in recent years, has been my motivation for facing adversity caused by systemic racism, Covid-19

and Blacks murdered by police.

• KEEPING YOU FAITH In God to Overcome the Adversities You Will Surely Face:

My motivation for keeping my faith is the knowledge that God can do all things and He is the One that
gives me strength. Without God, the adversities that I will face will be too challenging. However, keeping
my faith is what will provide me with the knowledge, integrity, and tools that I need to overcome any

hurdle.

• STAYING COMMITTED TO ACHIEVEMENT Academic Success, Individual Development, and Spiritual

Growth:

Knowing how hard I have worked and how far I have come over the past 12 years of schooling are my
motivation for staying committed to achievement, academic success, individual development, and spir-
itual growth. Throughout my life, I have faced many hardships and overcome challenges that have made
me stronger and allowed e to have the knowledge that I can make it through anything.
