MAGUEL ROSS…..
PERSONAL BIOGRAPHY (CONT,):
Being a leader is more than just telling others what to do and being in charge; it is being able to lead
by example, take responsibility for all mistakes, and being able to motivate others. Although I am still
learning how to become the best person I can be, I am still trying my best to gain a powerful ambition
to take on the world. Regardless of the amount, any scholarship would help me drastically and I
would feel very appreciative of any financial assistance that I receive. Although I believe in myself to
the point where I know I can do whatever I put my mind to, every award of money that I receive for
college gives me more confidence due to me seeing
HOW WILL YOU HANDLE THESE CHALLENGES ?
FACING ADVERSITY Caused by COVID-19 Pandemic, Systemic Racism, Blacks Murdered by Police:
I feel as though COVID-19 has given society the time to put more attention on this issue that has been
going on for years. This pandemic has helped minorities get a bigger voice and help get justice for
systematic racism
KEEPING YOUR FAITH In God to Overcome the Adversities You Will Surely Face:
I have always had a belief in a higher power, although it may not be as explicit as I would like to believe. I
also believe there is someone to look up to as a model and am impressed to have a positive view of the
afterlife so I try my best to maintain a respectable character.
STAYING COMMITTED TO ACHIEVEMENT Academic Success, Individual Development, and Spiritual
Growth:
My parents always tell me there is never a time to stop trying your best. With that being said I never
miss out on an opportunity to grow and become a better person. I would like to be the best at whatev-
er I choose do for a living.
