Inside the Hall, is the Sanford Lions Club booth where you can learn how our Lions Club
helps the visually impaired and the community; get information about becoming a Lions
Club member; purchase Camp Dogwood tickets for a chance to win a truck or car and
donate your old glasses to be recycled for those less fortunate.

To remember the 82nd Lee Regional Fair be sure to take a photo or selfie at the decorated
photo booth. Posting your photo to the Lions Club Facebook page with
#2019LeeRegionalFair, may just make you a special winner.

CHEERLEADING EXHIBITION

The purpose of this event is to showcase the cheerleading talent we have in our community
and a way to give back to this great community that supports our athletes, schools, and
organizations. It's a great day to see approximately 200 youth under one roof! Come check
it out, you will be impressed!

COOK-OFFS

A popular and tasty event at the Fair is the annual cake, chili, pie, and cookie cook offs.
These Events takes place in the Agricultural Exhibit Hall. Check out the Fair Catalog for
rules and judging criteria. The Mayor’s Choice Cookie contest is open to all youth grades
3-12 and local elected officials are the judges. Three age divisions with 1st, 2nd and 3rd places
awarded in each age division. This year’s Cake will be a Pound Cake without icing, Pie will
be Chocolate Meringue and the Cookie will be Sugar Cookies without icing.

COW PATTY BINGO

S3 Housing Connect Task Force is pleased to sponsor the “2nd Annual Cow Patty Bingo”
Event to be held at the Lee Regional Fair on Friday, September 13th from 6:00-8:00pm in
the Arena Barn. The Arena Barn will be divided into a grid with each numbered square
being sold for $25. During the event, a cow will be let into the ring and wherever the animal
decides to deposit a “cow patty”, the lucky ticketholder with that numbered square will win
up to $500!
Due to the generosity of the Sanford Lion’s Club, each Cow Patty Bingo ticket purchased
will grant free Friday admission to the Lee Regional Fair. This festive event will include
kids’ games, prizes, face painting, cow-themed contests, and much more!

5391. All proceeds go toward supporting Sanford and Lee County homeless shelters and
eventually ending homelessness in our area through shelter, support and stability.
