This Strategic Plan describes the desired future for Urban Pathways. It serves as a
directional compass for change. In developing the Strategic Plan, Urban Pathways
explored questions about its past, present, and future:

❖ What do we already do well that we can replicate, leverage and expand?
❖ What do we care deeply about that we want to carry into our future?

❖ What do we want to leave behind?

❖ When Urban Pathways is as we desire it to be, what will we be seeing,
hearing, or experiencing?
❖ What must be different to reach this desired place?

Through delineating the mission, vision, values and strategic priorities, the Strategic
Plan lays out, in a clear, intentional, and coherent manner, the future of Urban
Pathways and encourages new ways of working, communicating and interacting

that serve that future.
This Strategic Plan provides a shared framework for leading and managing at every

level. It is intended to inform and influence the day-to-day operations of Urban
Pathways and requires the collaboration and commitment of everyone— the Board,
leaders, and the staff. This Strategic Plan ensures that Urban Pathways remains

relevant, visible and viable.
