ancient but very scientific techniques and

“Ms. Geeta Chandran gave us excerpts from
her childhood on how one should respect
the ‘Guru’ or the teacher, and not question
their decisions. ‘Gu’ means darkness and
‘Ru’ means to remove, literally meaning
‘Someone who removes darkness from
your life’, and that’s why a Guru is so
important to one’s life.
She then told us how to be disciplined and
the real meaning of it. The meaning of
discipline is a lot deeper than one could
imagine. It means to show a controlled form
of behaviour towards some task with
respect. Be it discipline with time (i.e.
Punctuality), or with people (i.e. Respect).
Her objective was not to show us her dance,
but to teach us how to follow our passion
and work hard to achieve it.”
