Summer Camp- Pacific Summerland from 20

May to 1 June 2019. To beat the heat and make

the days fulfilling, a plethora of activities were
organized wherein children acquired a lot of
new and creative skills that would give them an
extra edge, making them physically agile, creatively
enriched, scientifically inclined and socially sensitive.
REFLECTIONS:
“Skating has been one of my favourite sports since
childhood. I love to run on the wheels and I have
been able to continue this because of the facilities
being provided in my school. Last year I got an
opportunity to take part in the summer camp where
I learnt more about skating like different kinds of
skates and the ways to improve my skating skills.”

Techno-Wizards at Work
“Exploring science through simple hands-on activities
was a great experience. Our Robotics teacher was
cheerful and addressed all our queries patiently. We
learnt a lot about nuts, bolts, lights, wires etc. We
created a miniature model of a traffic signal using
LED lights. We felt a sense of achievement showcasing
our project to our parents during the valedictory
function of the Summer Camp.”

Born to Create
“The Pacific Summer Land was a ten-day workshop which
offered numerous activities - from sports and self-defence
like Badminton, Swimming and Judo-Karate to performing
arts like Singing, Dancing and Theatre. We also had Robotics,
where students learned the functioning of robots and
acquired the basic skill to make them.
I loved the theatre workshop. We exercised regularly to stay
fit and agile. The workshop helped us inculcate life skills like
teamwork, discipline, punctuality and much more. Our
parents were invited for the valedictory function and we
showcased the skills we had acquired during the ten-day
camp. We were felicitated with participation certificates. My
mother was full of praise for me.”
